@factsoverflags: Cambodia — that piece of land — was under Siamese rule for almost 500 years. Now think about that. Five centuries. And yet today, they claim Thailand has been stealing their culture? It doesn’t work like that. The ruler never adopts the culture of the ruled. It’s always the opposite. Culture flows like water — from high to low. From strong to weak. From center to edge. So if Siam governed Cambodia for hundreds of years, Wouldn’t the Khmer people have absorbed Thai influence — not the other way around? Look around today. The language, the dance, the clothing, the art — So much of it mirrors Thailand. That’s not theft. That’s the natural flow of history. You can’t scream “original” while copying the recipe. The truth stays quiet — and solid — like it always has.
#TruthFromThailand: 🇹🇭Thailand has been helping Cambodia for years giving education to Cambodian children near the border, and letting them receive medical treatment in Thai hospitals. Thailand loses hundreds of millions of US dollars every year doing this. What Thailand got was a hospital bombing?... Why?... And Thailand has always desired peace and has supported the Cambodian people in many ways for decades. Thai hospitals have treated Cambodian patients free of charge, and numerous scholarships have been granted to Cambodian students.
Looking back at history, during the Khmer Rouge regime, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit helped establish refugee camps to provide safety and support. Thai employers have also hired many Cambodian workers, enabling them to earn a living and send money home to their families.
Despite all these efforts, it often feels like nothing Thailand does is ever enough.

💢Guys! Thailand is bigger than Cambodia but it doesn't mean that Thailand starts the war. ❌️It's not about who's big or who's small, ✅️it's about humanity and ethical.
Hun's family control media all over Cambodia.
Hun Sen doesn’t care about the Cambodian people. He only cares about the money in his account. This whole push for war started because Thailand cracked down on the border scam empire that kept his cronies rich.
When the scam collapsed, the fake patriotism began. — The saddest part? Many still choose to stay blind, not because they can’t see — but because lies are more comfortable than truth.

Q: Cambodia is smaller, and its military and weapons aren't as strong as Thailand's. So why would it want to go to war?
A: It's not about wanting to win; rather, it aims to lose the war to take on the victim role, as it's well-known that the world tends to root for the underdog

This is Thailand — a sovereign nation, free from the rule of any foreign power.
We do not seek to invade others, for we are a peace-loving people.
But if ever we are threatened, we will stand united to defend our nation's sovereignty.

Thailand has never wanted to invade anyone, and never has. The only thing Thailand wants is peace and tranquility. We have never wanted anything from Cambodia, not even Preah Vihear Temple, which was once Thailand's. We uphold the court order. But at the same time, Cambodia desperately wanted the temples so that the border line could extend to Koh Kood. Cambodia knew that Koh Kood had many other things, but that was Thailand's property. Koh Kood and Koh Kong had been Thailand's property since the reign of King Rama V.

🇹🇭The world should realize that Thailand values peace and has never wanted anything from Cambodia because Thailand has its own richness, culture, language, traditions, abundant resources and Thailand has never been a colony of anyone. We live peacefully. However, Cambodia is the only country that has continuously tried to claim the rights to Thai cultural heritage, which includes intangible traditions and tangible artifacts.
Thailand has always tried to use peaceful means to minimize the impact on both countries. But Cambodia has repeatedly violated the right to live together. Thailand has lost more than enough.

Thai soldiers stationed at the border are now sharing food and drinking water with Cambodian refugees. They are running out of food and are asking for help from the Thai soldiers. The Cambodian government not only attacked Thailand first and violated the ceasefire agreement even though we asked for it, but they have also continued to attack the Thai border up until now. This does not include creating a lot of fake news to slander Thailand. To show the pity in the eyes of the world, the Cambodian government leader has abandoned his people homeless and hungry while he is still living well, having good food and sleeping in a warm home, using his own people as hostages.

@Tawhan_chihuahua: The Roman Empire once covered a large part of Europe, including many modern countries. Despite this vast territory, people in Europe generally don't fight over or claim exclusive ownership of Roman civilization. Instead, they recognize it as a shared cultural heritage that influenced many nations across the continent. This is quite different from how the Khmer people sometimes view the civilizations in Southeast Asia, often seeing the entire region's culture as their own.

Cambodian culture has the strong influence from India. Look at art around the old temple, there are hundreds of Hindi gods carving.
