this zod and his ppl would be good antagonists for a sequel to the new superman movie. It would be interesting to see how the more comic accurate superman would deal with a threat like him. it would be a good way to raise the stakes and doesnt necessarily mean they would need superman to be edgy again.

To be honest I never understood how superman would this, like Zod said he and his team were bred and trained WARRIORS the should have folded Clark so easily. especially with their armour and blades included.

The issue some people have with the Snyder film is not Zod, I personally think Zod was peak in this film. The idea is that Snyder’s Superman wasn’t as human as the new one, he is instead seen and portrayed in a more godlike manner. The reason People like the new super man, although it wasn’t as badass, is because it showed Superman as kind, more hopeful, and more focused on protecting the people like in the earlier comics rather than a god amongst men and harbinger of destruction like in the Snyder film. This is my objective take on the films and I really enjoyed both of them for their different portrayals on who this character is
