Rent should be capped. I’m paying 1650 for a house that needed to be gutted bc of how disgusting it was when I moved in. Always do a walk thru before moving in too. Of the real property cuz I saw one that was remodeled and walked into a shit show.

Leasing agent here 👋. It’s mainly the market. If the market has increased the value of your place by $200, we usually meet in the middle with a $100 increase on your rent. Not always, but usually.
