I think it's not so much about what is believable or not, and more about what can be explained and understood better. I think people think science is objectively better because it can be explained systematically.

Also the fact that atheists have this whole explanation of science and evolution and how earth and the planets formed over millions/billions of years and they explain it to you like it’s a fact 💀 when their whole theory was only created in the 1800s, like you’re telling me over the last 200 years or less we have somehow been able to piece together millions of years of history and you accept it as absolute fact? 😭 that’s just as crazy IF NOT MORE CRAZY like somebody just made it up based on old rock formations and fossils

If you say you’re not religious but you are spiritual then that is WAYYYY worse than being atheist

no atheist claims the universe came from literal nothingness, not even the big bang theory claims that, it just describes the expansion of the universe, not the actual "start" or cause. meanwhile christians literally claim this exact thing: god exists, but they can't tell you why or how. "everything needs a cause" unless ut's god, then suddenly their argument doesn't apply anymore. special pleading at its finest. also life can indeed come from non life through abiogenesis

The naturalistic worldview requires at least one miracle - existence out of non existence.

The origin of creation is honestly at the bottom of my list of reasons for nonbelief. Regardless, there have been countless questions that have been answered through science since the start of religion. So much of what we used to think was supernatural or gods work, we now have an explanation for. (Disease, natural phenomenons, droughts, etc.) Personally, I cannot place god as an answer to this one question alone just because we don’t know the answer. It’s ok to admit we don’t know, as there are many theories alone that suggest no start to the universe and that it has always existed. At the end of the day, I can’t control what I believe.

It takes faith to believe in nothing at all as well

It’s a fair critique, but being agnostic is the only responsible decision. There is not one person on this earth. That truly knows what’s going on, anyone who pretends otherwise is being dishonest. It’s called faith for a reason. We shouldn’t get criticized for denial of educated guesses.

The biggest road block when it comes to atheists is their theory of creation. For some reason they say it’s insane to believe that a creator made all that is but us “evolving” from cosmic soup makes a ton of sense. Real science supports the existence of God.

I believe they both can be true! The Almighty God of the universe spoke the earth into creation and there was a big bang! I can’t imagine it being silent.🗣️💥 🌎

We actually don't know why matter - or anything -exists, but that doesnt mean it's logical to leap to "God did it".

I’ve said this on here before, but just because you subject yourself to a certain religion and “have an answer” does not make it correct. Sure as an atheist I could be wrong, but the claims Christianity makes is absurd (coming from a former Christian) -By your logic I might as well pick some religion, because having a belief in something unexplainable only makes sense if you’re religious?

I thought energy can't distapear and it can't come from nothing. It can only change? Then how did the universe come from nothing?
Thats why I belive in God.

Those things don't necessarily need to be mutually exclusive. You can believe that God used the Big Bang to create the universe. Being a Christian doesn't mean we have to be anti-science

Guess what... Theists are the ones velieving god farted out the universe out of nothing. I feel quite comfortable saying that I don't know how universe started, if it even started. If you can claim god is eternal I can claim the universe is eternal according to the law of conservation of energy
