@ccbinx: This kind of violence is preventable when stop normalizing the way misogyny harms women and girls. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this. #idaho4 #truecrime #protectwomen #incelculture #misogyny
There was a woman who went to police to say, “my husband is threatening my life and he has a gun.” They told her jothing they could do until he hurt her. Later that day he shot her when she pulled into the driveway. Thought she was dead so ran. Thankfully she wasnt

It’s one of the reasons why the surviving roomates waited so long to call for help. One of them was known for getting spooked and didn’t want to “overreact” again. I wonder if any of the times she got scared it actually was because she felt him stalking them.

That requires laws being changed. Police are hired to enforce laws. It’s a flaw in our system. Nothing will change under our current regime.

I requested a restraining order for fear of my safety. They (a woman PO) told me it was an arduous process and recommended I just try “no contact” first and see how it plays out. Should have learned from when I was 16 and SA’d by two peers and the detective spent hours grilling me about regret and how it was okay to experiment and not feel good about yourself after. I had a positive kit and had to take stool softeners due to lesions. I was bleeding from both my vagina and anus. I thought I had my period. The nurse gave me Plan B. I switched schools shortly after. Almost didn’t graduate because I was in deposition and working with lawyers all the time. It ruined my life for years. I’m 33 now and I’ll rip a motherfucker’s trachea out if they fuck with me.

I know a lot of dem women are against pews but idc we should have them. Women are the ones that need them. We can act in self defense but if we don’t, we go to trial and are victim blamed. I feel like we do have an option of making men scared of their actions but we don’t do it. I get that it might not seem like the answer because of the pew violence in the us but it’s largely men doing that and we are left defenseless otherwise by the law. Not that this would’ve helped the Idaho 4 as they were attacked in their sleep, I’m speaking about defending ourselves against this rising culture
