As a GSD lover and owner and my absolute favorite breed and I’ve owned others I can confirm it is a GSD people thing 1000000% I just lost my GSD a week ago and the devastation is unreal. ❤️It’s because they give us there all and live for us it’s a much deeper connection than anything else. They are such a special breed. 💗

Once you’ve had a GSD and you have bonded with one it changes your fucking life and your perspective on the entire breed doesn’t even matter if it’s a crazy neurotic shepherd, you still fucking love them💜💜

I’m a veterinarian and a GSD mom and can confirm that this happens with every GSD owner I meet. We immediately bond when I tell them I have a shepherd too

yes 🥺💕 and we had to put our beloved Zoe down last year due to cancer. we had her for 10 years.... we recently rescued two other shepherds who were in desperate need and I'm thankful for them 💕 the best breed

I think its because it takes a certain mentality to own a GSD and we think of the inevitable with our dogs but also just blanket love other GSDs

I had a gsd mix who is lost to cancer at age 6 in 2022. I still cry, I cry when someone talks about a sick dog I've never met. I currently have 3 dogs two boxer mixes and gsd/Husky.
