I love you Rabbi Sandra. I was just talking with my haverim today about the legacy of the Holocaust specifically on US Jews. Lots of disenfranchisement that has lasted generations and people still holding that legacy of pain are not quick to hop on board with causing it to others in any shape or form. The Judaism they didn’t feel they inherited from their parents +the lack of institutions that hold space for them safely means they end up feeling totally isolated & grieving alone. 💔
