Mallen’s fishing adventures :
Market place get a better filter like an easy pod mate, that filter won’t be good enough for koi. With how many koi all depends on the filter and if you want them to grow well.

don't go carpet it will rot. fleece liner on sides and a good layer of soft sand on bottom. I wouldn't go pressure filter on that size pond I would look at going bottom drain into eazypod if not to late, you will regret going pressure filter at a later date.

Bayly’s koi :
Mate, how many people need to tell you that filter is no good for koi !! Just trying to save you hassle in the long run with bacteria issues and your koi dying. No respectable koi dealer would suggest a pressure filter :/ I know you said the guy runs one and it’s crystal clear but dealers feed very minimal so less waste and clear water is not always healthy water buddy.

I don’t have ponds or koi but fish keeper I’d start by figuring out how many L of water your going to have and go from there on how many but will depend on the size they can get really :) also defo start With small amount of fish and gradually increase so the benifical bacteria can handle the load :)

Your pump and filter really not powerful enough . Not for size of your pond . You also need a UV light . . You really can’t have to bigger pump or filter

Sorry to say it but I’m with the easypod/bottom drain. Go 2nd hand if you can, spend on a good uv filter 👍

What happens when the fence posts need replacing around the pond? Might be worth future proofing them before filling the pond

5 to 6 kio your pond is 5544 litres at the size you mansion and I probably would add a bog filter along with your canister filter they're easy to make and maintain

To be honest I probably agree the filter isn’t good enough. Does it have a uv built in because I would defo recommend getting 1 if not

about 7000 litres, stick to about 6 small ones and see how they are doing over winter.
dont forgot to get a bacteria starter for your water cycle.
