Oh nooo! Try pinning it to the right size and letting it dry, you might be surprised. Could stay gigantic though 😝 also the way your holding it doesn’t show my much is taken by the shoulder so it might not be as bad as it looks. Haha can’t wait to see what happens next, I’m invested now!

I made a cardigan in superwash earlier this year—it was super scary seeing it after soaking it. Lay your sweater completely flat, and it should shrink some while it dries

if it is superwash, i always have to put my superwash sweater in the dryer to get it back to normal size! although idk if it usually shrinks that much lol

Superwash merino stretches more than other yarns. I always ask chat GPT to help figure out how much to k it depending on the yarn.

If it’s superwash this will happen 😅 check the care instructions for your yarn because normally superwash can/is meant to be put into the dryer to shrink back up again
