I rear face my son but when he’s not in it I will lock it forward facing so a passenger can fit the front seat. If my son is with most passagngers have to sit in the back! I didn’t realize how much space convertible car seats take up in a smaller vehicle rear faced

Also if you have a high back booster that isn’t anchored you are technically supposed to buckle the seat belt so it can’t be a projectile
