Yes, there was a job listing for a Shariah Law Administrator in Manchester — but NOT for the City Council. It was posted by a private Islamic organization (Didsbury Mosque) on a public job board. The role was admin-based, paid by private donations, and the ad has since been withdrawn due to backlash. ⚠️No taxpayer money involved. No government court. This has been widely misrepresented online. 🇷🇺 It’s very likely part of Russian disinformation trying to stir up anti-Muslim and anti-migrant feelings. Don’t fall for it.
