at a daycare i worked at they would be able to come back once they get eye drops for their eyes since after 24 hrs it wasn’t contagious

I hate parents who refuse to acknowledge illnesses. we had a parent who kept sending her child on the bus with chicken pox. his parents knew we had an immunocompromised student who wasn't vaccinated against chicken pox. The mom was a single mom and didn't have anyone else to watch him so she'd put him on the bus each morning and the driver was clueless. thankfully James lucked out and not only didn't get the chicken pox, he beat a childhood cancer with a very low survival rate. and he's now fully vaccinated!

I had viral pink eye after I had told my director for three days that a little boy had super red irritated eyes and ended up quitting after i was berated for calling out per doctor’s recommendations.
