to anyone confused, like the account name says these people are volunteers at a humane society that intercepts these slaughter house/auction transporters, offers them a price to buy all of these horses, if accepted then the transporter will bring the trailer to their facility and offload the horses so that the team can treat them, rehab them and rehome them. unfortunately they almost never know what state these horses will arrive in, but they do whatever they can anyways. tranporters do not care, obviously they put a huge draft and a mini in a trailer together, its almost garunteed that a horse will fall and not be able to get back up because the trailer is crammed full. its very, very, very sad, but these people do such phenomenal work helping these horses.
