nobody likes complaining more about magic than commander-only players i stg ill die on this hill. we had a guy come into the shop yesterday who only plays commander and was playing standard for the first time in over a year. i played him round 1, he only drew one of his two colors game 1 and then mulliganed to 5 with 1 land game 2, slammed his cards on the table and was yelling about how much standard sucks, said he was going back to commander only, and then left. commander players need to learn to enjoy the game for what it is and not find every possible reason to get upset with other people and other cards just because they exist

In response I'm gonna sack off all my tokens with the affect of Basal sliver and make 2 million black mana then resolve the rakdos charm and take 4 damage. Then then around and make 2 million more slivers for next turn.

Made our groups token sliver player annoyed one game cause I kept sacing a spore frog in his turn. After that match I told him to get a questing beast so that he can break out of that loop.

In fairness that’s EVERY sliver deck.. that’s the reason every new player immediately builds them, dragons, and eldrazi… they are SUPER low skill, low thought, high power decks
