I have autoimmune conditions- but nothing that *should*effect the blood- but I have had an HB of 4 and have needed so many blood transfusions- but it stopped 10 years ago and never came back! Never found out what it was 😳

My daughter takes methotrexate for autoimmune she was severely anemic too….. it’s so odd hopefully they find the answer for you!

If you have any heritage in the Middle East/meditarian, I encourage you to ask for a screening for Thalasemia (beta, minor and trait). I am a carrier and my hemoglobin does this at times randomly.

Yeah they had to go in and find my source if bleeding. They did an endoscopy and found I had an ulcer in my small intestine. CTs can miss it. You will prob need endoscopy and colonoscopy
