If you support some games being taken down, that means any games can be taken down. Come on man you gotta be principal about this. I’d rather have games on uncomfortable with being up on a site then having any game for unjustifiable reasons taking off

Collective-Shout did this by sending 1000 or so emails to the credit card companies. Annoying them to make it look it it’s an extreme situation. In retaliation 4chan set up bots to do the same but for the opposite overwhelming visa and Mastercard servers.

the ick is that those card compagny basically decide what we can and cannot buy. Adding restrictions is weird. But I actually don't understand why Steam wouldn't take down those atrocious games, or even create something to protect women's dignity on their platform (I mean they probably don't care)

once you start censoring some things it'll spread. collective shout is very vocally far right and they shouldn't be able to control how I spend my money. they've tried going after more mainstream games before and failed, this gives them a foot in the door.

its never gonna stop at just the illegal stuff especially with groups like collective shout, they are trying to take games that are perfectly legal (yes including legal NSFW games), they even tried to bann/censore gta 5, detroid become human, many indie games (and, unsure about this but i've heard they also tried Cyberpunk 2077). There will always be a marked for those games (especially NSFW) and people who buy it, its just how many loss do steam, MasterCard and Visa have because no one can/will use them to buy these games, Also its just gross censoreship as thx to wolfenstein 2 Videogames are considered Art now, so its censoring the freedom of art
