You are so smart for thinking if all of these things through, a lot of people don’t. But these are normal feeling as you make this new transition in life.

I’m two weeks into my first corporate job after graduating two months ago and feel this so hard. I want to know the future is secure but also already feel so burnt out. It’s a very tough time but we’re strong and we’ll get there with time.

I’m 33, first time mom with an 11 month old who works as a full time accountant, you literally will never feel ready. Yes always tired but it’s the best tired

Hear me out - open a 529 now, you can do it without a kid, put $50/month in it. Your future self will be very happy.

I had a little human at 23, and I ❤️him but I tell him to WAIT until he’s established and has traveled or whatever he dreams for himself. And I plan to set him up a ROTH IRA and tell him to start contributing to his future at an early age

I’m happy to hear that you set up a 401k at 22! Every small amount adds up and your future self will be thankful. Also you will be a great mom, take your time and everything will happen when it’s time.

And the 40 work week is a scam. I have never worked a 40 hour week. I won’t. And I’ve been up front with employers about that from the interview stage and it has never prevented me from getting an offer. Tell your employer that work life balance is impkrtant to you. You may have to sacrifice in areas of salary or benefits, but IMO it’s well worth it.

While you don’t have kids try and pay off your debt as fast as possible, throw all extra money on it. You will be thankful you did when kids come along.

While you’re doing your training, you don’t necessarily need to be doing your workouts every day - you are already getting a work out by running around for 8 hours. It’s when you are done the training and are sitting more that you need to do the work out. That should hopefully help with your energy level a little bit. And during your commute, you could listen to audio books. That’s what my sister does. 💗

Start saving 15% gross, not net, if you can. Live below your means. You will retire with millions ❤️

You will never feel “ready”. This is NOT me encouraging you to have kids right now, but it is me giving you the reality that if you wait until you’re 100% ready, you will never have them. So I’d say wait until you feel about 80% ready, the rest you’ll figure out as you go ❤️
I had my baby at 33 years old. It’s a great age to become a mom! Also, consider opening a 529 now for your future baby. $50.00 bucks per month will compound over time! Love watching your story!
