For all those saying its Napalm: The idea that dissolving Styrofoam in acetone creates napalm is a misconception. Acetone, a volatile organic solvent, dissolves the polystyrene foam, collapsing its air-filled structure into a viscous, sticky mass. During this phase, the mixture is flammable but no more so than the acetone itself. Once the solvent fully evaporates, the residue solidifies into a dense, relatively non-flammable polystyrene polymer. True napalm, in contrast, is a complex incendiary composed of gasoline thickened with aluminum soaps and is a fundamentally different chemical system. The Styrofoam–acetone reaction is therefore more accurately described as a plastic-forming process, not a weaponized compound.

Thank you for the demo and to the comments saying this is how you make napalm, no it is absolutely not. And lots of things are flammable. It’s only a problem if you’re around open flames and sparks
