As someone who used to be a airport janitor I can tell u this now it wasn’t the airline who did that it was tsa. They sometime send luggages through a conveyor belt into a room for “scanning” & sometimes open & look thru people luggages… only know this because I saw tsa do it muli times when I went back for cleaning🤷🏿♀️

It’s not JetBlue! Airlines don’t go through luggage, it’s TSA . Checked and carry on is checked by TSA. So the issue you have is the TSA employees at the airport

Is there a little note card from TSA in the suitcase? They went through my suitcase one time and left me a note saying they did so… it could be they went through it and put everything back into the wrong suitcase. Horrible either way I hope you can get your things back!

That has nothing to do with JetBlue. The baggage handlers work for the airport, not the airline. What airport was this? That’s who need to contact.

All of yall saying put a lock on your bag and I will tell you as a ramp worker for 8yrs, TSA will pop that lock off like a soda can and go thru your things. The locked luggage’s are their favorite because they wanna know what you got in there 🤔🤔🤔

yeah this happened to me before but they put everything back. it's if they detect something in your suitcase that's not supposed to be there so they have to inspect it. I've never seen it where they didn't put the right items back into the bag so I think that's something with the airport
