Unfortunately it happens in other cities too for diff reasons. I’ve been living in the Midwest for about 10 years and many people settle down early here. I’ll meet new girlfriends, then a year or two after, they meet someone, move out to the suburbs, start a life, have kids and I maybe only see them once a year. Then I find new friends and the cycle keeps repeating. I’ve been thinking about moving back out west. I think ultimately it’s a game of luck….
