Yo trabajo en Walmart aquí en USA, y en la política de la tienda dice y respalda que toda ID emitida en PR sí debe ser aceptada porque somos territorio estadounidense. Este país tiene que hacer algo porque donde yo trabajo a cada rato me preguntan que si yo tengo “green card” 😮💨 estoy cansada de explicar que somos ciudadanos americanos también!

I work at Walmart and that is a lie. IDs from Puerto Rico are accepted because there are part of the United States. Therefore they hold the same value as if you lived in the US that lady was discriminating simple.

Also, hopefully you got the manager involved in it. Then you can turn some heads because they'll try to pass it on to employees that don't know the rules, or policies.

Tú eres de las mías! Sue them!!! That’s not Walmart policy. You can win the settlement for discrimination, which is illegal! In this case, it just depends on the cashier. I have used my real state id at Walmart before to buy liquor. But, I don’t live in a racist state like Ohio.

pregunto ella era americana blanquita de ojos claros? aquí hace un tiempo; hice una pregunta en hotel SJ en Carolina y el chamaco me habla en inglés y me dice lo siento solo ingles y yo le dije ( en inglés) esto es un hotel estas trabajando en PR, tienes que hablar español... y salió otra muchacha a atender counter y le dije dile a tu compañero que aprenda español, bastante se chava uno cuando va a USA...
