Yesss. I’ve been a fan of Billie since day one. I’ve seen her live many times. Her pale skin and her light eyes…she damn near glows. I’m from California…a melting pot and I have never seen anyone that looks like Billie.

Yeah, I’m this way too. I’m a mutt though so the Irish is diluted a tad with hungarian, so I do tan a little after a while, but it’s a lot of work and I’m not damaging my skin for fun anymore

I don’t think there’s enough evidence to definitively call her racist, but she should’ve expected the backlash given current times. I’m just looking at it from a PR standpoint. She’s made a similar mistake in the past and was quick to make a statement of apology and further context, so I hope she’d act quick with this one too. Now she’s old enough to understand the current social climate, and easily could’ve expressed a connection to her heritage’s culture… not physical attributes. Given her experience with past mistakes & status, the LEAST she could do is hire a PR team that would teach her how to take an approach of preventative measures using anticipatory strategy under a sensitive social climate.
