PERIOD. 🤬 An Oregon Corrections Enterprise employee (Jobett Christine Zamora) at Deer Ridge Correctional Institution had a sexual relationship with an AIC — a clear abuse of power, a clear violation of law — and the courts gave her 10 damn days in jail. TEN. DAYS. If an incarcerated person did anything close to this, they’d be buried in time. But because she worked under OCE? She walks away with probation like it’s no big deal. This is state-protected injustice, plain and simple. Let me be clear: 👉 This is not a “relationship.” It’s custodial sexual misconduct. 👉 This is an abuse of authority. 👉 This is why people don’t trust ODOC or OCE. Those inside are expected to follow the rules or get slammed — but staff can break the law and barely face consequences.
