We see plenty of other modern concepts read into the Bible don’t we? Why do you think rape is considered different? Do you think the point of view of “rape is not spelled out in the Bible” has something to do with sexism or do you think some people might really be trying to be “neutral” ?

Sticking with my stance that when the Bible gives a clear direction it doesn't need to say not to do the opposite of the direction. A man is to find a woman to marry. That's a clear direction and anything other than that is not Biblical.

Sounds a bit like the English 19thC stated aim of writing an objective history, whose historians went on to write a one sided justification for colonialism and the oppression they inflicted on the world. Bias is (as you say) intrinsic to writing

The story of the revenge for Dinah upon the Shehechemites in Genesis is really interesting for this reason. It has a double awareness. It’s reasonably implied that the Shechemites are successfully deceived and killed because they assume everybody accepts rape culture.
