The gospel of Judas is a gnostic gospel written centuries after Christ , Gnosticism is a different religion from Christianity and the gnostics would write and title gospels after certain biblical characters to deceive Christians into thinking it they were legitimate and therefore convert to Gnosticism.

Bruh it was written that Judas will betray Jesus, it was a prophecy that Jesus would be betrayed so it had to happen. What didn’t have to happen was Judas not apologizing and commiting … he was supposed to be forgiven but he chose another path.

Judas never betrayed Jesus, he was the only one who knew the message of Jesus. So what do they do? Like with everyone in history that is in trust of this ancient wisdom they turn into the bad guy. So Judas has been portrayed as the one who betrayed Jesus when in actual fact he was his closest friend.
