Girl, I felt the same way. I was originally open to both but as someone who just got married THIS Friday, it is SO nice to have 2 full days to recover before people have to go back to work on Monday! Haha! You are going to be a beautiful bride! 🤍

I'm a wedding planner in PA. Something I always tell my July + August couples... visit the venue during HOT weather. I had a couple a few weeks ago who had a beautiful wedding, great food, exceptional DJ, and a really awesome venue. BUT! It was 90° and humid outside, and the a/c could not keep up. Once 175 guests were in that room with hot food, it was really uncomfortable. Unfortunately they toured + booked the venue in the spring of last year. Specifically those 2 months of the summer can be rough weather-wise.

Literally dealt with this EXACT same thing. We went with a Friday in September, 9/18/26. Those Saturday prices were INSANEEEE!

I’m also doing a Friday! 10/16/26! One of the venue sales managers said that guest actually love a Friday because they can make a little vacation out of it (especially bc we live in/getting married in Charleston) & everyone’s so excited. Some already booked Airbnbs!
