@anjaimamovic13: Day 1 of sharing my life stories so my baby can be exposed to English as well… 99% of the time she only hears Slovenian-my husband and I speak it at home and to her all day. We want her to be fluent in both languages, but since we’re trying to avoid screen time as much as we can, she’s not getting much English right now. Every time we speak English in public, she looks at us like we’re strangers 😅 I know she’ll be exposed to it more as she gets older but I don’t want it to feel like a shock. For now, I guess I’m pretty much her screen time 😅 That’s why we are here… I’ve lived through a lot… some fun and some not-so-fun life events and I’ll be sharing those stories here, so she can hear me in the background… and hopefully so you can enjoy them too. #fyp #viral #sharingmystory #lifestories #dwts

If you want her to be bilingual, you need to speak to her in English too. Maybe during the day you only use English. You need to talk to her in English the same way you do in Slovenian

yep you have to speak to her. I know a couple who are bilingual and one parent only talks to her in Chinese and one in English. both parents pretended not to know the other language. so she would come and ask dad for milk in Chinese he would say what idk what that is and her brain would switch and go oh milk please in English.

Delta Air Lines Flight 56, with 275 passengers and 13 crew members on board, diverted to Minneapolis-St. Paul and landed safely shortly before 8 p.m. local time.
