We tell old ppl “use it or lose it” using Ai for daily tasks is like watching someone run a 1k while sat on your couch and calling it exercise. I am fascinated from a scientific perspective about how ai use will affect cognitive decline in younger populations and if we will see higher rates of Alzheimers going forward as ppl stop using their brains. Incorrect. ChatGPT consumes a bottle of water after up to 50 search queries (especially one as simplistic as food) you also skipped the part where the cooling farms recycle the water they are running over their machines. Since it’s a closed loop system (which has been around for years) only a fraction of the water is “lost” but is recovered by something you may have heard of in 7th grade called the ✨water cycle✨ i hope this was an educational lesson for you!

I hear what your trying to share, but this won’t hit the way you think it will. Instead of making fun maybe offer choices on what to eat for dinner? Americans are not overworked then ever and it’s an insanely stressful time, not a surprise that ai is being used to offload the mental part of the day. I’m in the boat that agreees it shouldn’t be used except for in cases where human computing isn’t possible, but I’m not gonna shame someone who’s tired and lives in a world that pushes them to use gpt.

Okay so we're mad at evaporative cooling towers? They evaporate clean water into the surrounding air too cool data centers, so it's not pollution and the water is still there and clean: just no longer liquid. And it seems the water evaporated in this way is something like 1/10th of a teaspoon per query.
