I have a theory she’ll end up with none of the brothers, go to Paris, come back and that’s when her and Conrad get their chance. There’s no way in my mind she can go straight to Connie after 4 YEARS 😭 they need a decent break somehow

I don't know how they got the love triangle so wrong that I genuinely would rather all three of them end up alone. Jeremiah has always been a disappointment but Belly as well, has no redeeming qualities? I've always done my best to defend her cause she's young and dealing with a lot but omg this season she feels especially unbearable. I think it's because she's an actual adult now and yet there's no growth? I'm team Conrad but I genuinely would rather have Belly end up with Jeremiah cause I genuinely have no reason to root for her.

been thinking abt this a lot… in the books, we don’t really get insight into Conrad until B3. in the show, we’ve known for almost the whole time. now, especially with how much he has changed, we can tell why she could still love him after years apart. not much work being put in to equally demonstrate what he still sees in her. obviously they have a history, excellent chemistry, and still love each other… but there is still a stark imbalance in substance to justify their feelings for one another, making it seem like she’s in denial and he’s nostalgic/jealous.

We’re about halfway through the season and there has been nothing to indicate Belly still has any real feelings for Conrad. I think for that ending to still make sense, we need another time jump. Belly and Jere break up, she goes to Paris, she grows and matures, years pass, and at the end she reconnects with Conrad. Anything else is going to feel cheap and ✨ridiculous✨

You are one of the rare Conrad stans i actually like. I agree with everything you said. Jenny Han said she loves for the viewers to be surprised by the ending of stories. The way that they are showcasing Belly and Jere’s relationship, it’s pretty obvious that they are not gonna end up together at the end. There is nothing to anticipate. Unless she really does have her choose neither brother at the end or a new guy altogether.

Always love your takes! Prime really messed up with the week-to-week episodes. Releasing all of the episodes for We Were Liars worked in their favor immensely. I binged it in a day. It blew up on social media. Reviews were super favorable. TSITP is getting blasted! I hope there is some redemption. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Definitely think we will flashforward years to give Belly time to grow on her own. The wedding we see will likely be 5+ years from now as that ties into all the adults saying Belly needs to wait to get married.

Obviously, they’ve changed some details, but this is pretty much what book 3 is though. The entire book is them being wildly naïve. Even until the last part of the book belly in particular just can’t see reality or act like an adult. And then on Jeremiah‘s end, he’s basically absent in the book and then also wildly delulu. I’m thinking specifically about the scene where they try to look for an apartment it’s just so cringe.

as someone who was happy to see them get together in s2, the scene with Belly and Jere DRAG. And it's hurting belly's likeability, we need some refreshing character building scenes without the two of them together (also I actually like the extra plotlines)

I wish they’d shown more physical change for them. They’ve styled Steven and Conrad much more mature and ik they’re still in college, but Jere and Belly didn’t seem to change at all

I think this season would’ve really been helped by a non-week to week release schedule, or even being a movie! This story just isn’t strong enough to stand on its own against the internet discourse machine. I am starting to genuinely think that Conrad should go no contact and find some other great love.
