@rachelfusaro: The update we’ve all been waiting for 🥹 One year ago today, my foster dog, 🌼 Daffodil 🌼 gave birth to 9 perfect puppies just days after she was dumped at a shelter 💔 It’s been a heavy year, easily one of the hardest chapters of my life We had too many losses,m, too many nights praying they’d make it to morning, too many weeks worrying if we’d lose more… But you know what, I’d do it all over again, because this experience gave me life changing memories, a new perspective on everything, new friendships I deeply cherish, and of course my sweet Aura, the puppy I couldn’t let go 💜 Now that I look back… I’m thinking maybe Daffodil’s journey was never about being saved, but about saving something in all of us 🥹🌼 Rest in Peace: Maple, Juniper & Posie. You will never be forgotten 🪽 Happy birthday to our little 🌼 Daffodils 🌼 Grover, Moss, Huckleberry, Beau (now Zuko), Birdie & the one I couldn’t give up, Aura 💜 To Daffodil, thank you for bringing more joy to my life than I could have ever expected. You deserve this beautiful life you have now, as the only dog, hiking & swimming every week, spoiled to the core every single day 🫶 And to all of you, thank you for keeping me above water when I needed it most. Just look at how all the puppies are doing!!
