It absolutely disgusts me that people will Criticize without even doing research on the intention and just assume it's a cash grab, The profits and charity work from this ad got profits to better support mental health services and donate to organizations against domestic violence. Sydney Sweeney has been a personal advocate for victims of domestic violence and is a feminist... I will admit I thought it was Eugenics when I misheard her say "my genes/jeans are better" But she said "My Jeans/genes are blue" This is not a dog whistle this is not racist propaganda... Another take I will say is, people complained on the seggulization of her but Marilyn Monroe was nowhere innocent either, she practiced similar actions, if not worse and she is seen as a feminist icon, not that I'm negatively negating her works as she donated lots of money to organizations and children's hospitals. But what discredits one's work for the same person to do the other? Either way MONEY IS BEING USED FOR A GOOD CAUSE on both ends of the table. Lastly I've done research, there is no evidence, none! That the Ceo, chairman and producers have had a racist past or practiced in the belief of Eugenics or anything in regards to that... I'm open to new knowledge and to anyone, I'm open to constructive criticism. Other than that I see no issue so far.
