Yes people… learn your rights! Unlawful detention, unlawful searches, or fabrication of “evidence” to arrest a person is 100% illegal. An officer has to a) articulate probable cause: clearly and legally. B) Provide EVIDENCE that a crime is committed: suspicion is not enough. Without following this protocol a citizen than can provide proof of such violations can request to remove immunity from the officer and sue him directly for damages. If more citizens did this, the cops would start behaving themselves and using restraint with more caution because their financial security would be at stake.

We don't have this problem in England. If you don't give your ID to a police officer you'll be arrested. Why was no ID put in the Constitution it's madness.
