Wildfire smoke + UV radiation = benzene and formaldehyde = burnt plastic smell. Chemical reaction between “volatile organic compounds” when emitted into the air. Why now more than in the past? Higher temps, less precipitation (Canada not us), earlier thaws, lightning strikes and careless people.

The fact that ND, MN, MI, etc have had the worst air quality the last 4 years because of Canada all of a sudden constantly on fire makes absolutely no sense to even the most gullible of people is crazy!

I’m not buying what they are telling us. Haha. I haven’t since they claimed it was wildfires. Never in my 40 years of living in Michigan did we ever have it this bad up until a few years ago. And it’s not wildfire smell. It smells like chemicals.

without a doubt it's not wildfires. I grew up in Colorado. I know what wildfires smell like. now living in the Midwest with all these hazy smokey days. it's not smoke.

IT’S NOT WILDFIRES! Wildfires don’t smell like burning plastic. And with all of our rain this summer. I honestly believe it’s chemicals or something they are purposely doing to make people wear masks and stay indoors again!

They give heat alerts for 85 degree days now. Why? It’s summer. It’s hot, 85 degrees in July is normal. I swear they want us inside so we are weak, unhappy, unhealthy and easy to control
