cross Island, LIE in Queens, Van Wyck all get flooded after about 45 mins of straight rain. you'd think with all the non stop 20 year construction they would've fix some drainage issues.

They keep taking any grassland and marshland left in the city to build apartments, example is Flushing airport site in Queens. It’s a marshland being turned into apartments.
