My passion is dyno tuning. I worked as a dyno tuner for a while but it's a very specific side that's hard to make it in. Either you work under someone else (if they let you even tune) and rarely get to do it, or you have to have your own shop and dyno (which is incredibly expensive) and that's a really hard point to get to. But we keep workin everyday for the dream. 🤙🏼

I worked at breaks plus here in Texas for a couple months after working at an independent shop. Realized corporate shops are not the way to go. Ended up investing with a long time family friend and opening my auto own shop.

Was a automotive apprentice spent my time in trade school and on the lube rack at different shops Firestone etc I ended up going into industrial maintenance 6 years deep and have made very good I wouldint advise young guys who want to be mechanics to be automotive technicians I would say diseal industrial maybe a fleet mechanic but never a dealer or independent because flat rate is dead the winters get cold and as the young man in the shop you will stave when there not enough to go round hourly is better always

Worked in retail at 16, Journeyman nightcrew at Safeway and head of pulling crew for resets at 18, joined pops at Toyota when he was shop foreman at 18, entered auto trade school, college and apprenticeship at Toyota, age 20. Journeyman out early from Toyota at 23 as a master tech, ASE and Toyota University, put in 17yrs at Safeway and 31yrs with Toyota as tech lead. I'm 51, retired with 2 pensions, 2 homes. Work your ass off, get educated period
