I'm so sorry, I haven't had reoccurrence, but I feel it stealing your 20s, got ill at 21 and it's awful. I feel the struggle though, my pituitary hasn't recovered, so now have not enough cortisol and I'm still sick all the time. I hate it. We are strong, and we can do this

My partners Cushing’s was eventually diagnosed as neuroendocrine cancer, an ectopic tumor in his lung that has spread to his liver, he’s about to start radiotherapy, it’s been a long road so far, endo is SO complex. Hope you manage to get your answers x

I’m so sorry. I had Cushing’s for 15+ years before I got an accurate dx and surgery. It robbed me of most of my twenties and thirties, and I’m permanently disabled now with a good chance of the tumor becoming active again because they couldn’t get it all. Solidarity.

Sorry to hear you’re no longer in remission! Cushing’s was also my hangman. Took 15 years to get diagnosed. Have been in remission since my pituitary surgery in September 2019. However, I had a CT to look for a hernia and they saw nodules on my adrenals. Did some of the testing, but have been putting off the supression test and over night cortisol’s again since I feel fine. Don’t want to go down this road again.
