best beach close to KK is Kidat for me. the star gazing there is mesmerising, sandy white beach. stay at kudat beach house. wake up with white sandy beach at your door steps. you can do surfing n body board if the season is right. try diving n visit the light house. the tip of borneo is not far too. 3 hours away. diving will be in semporna

Hi po! Im half filipino and also a local here. You should try Sinalau bakas/daging if you’re in Kundasang! Don’t forget grab some Ayam Madu (Honey BBQ chicken) too! It’s a must when you drop by Kundasang. Masarap po yan hehe

heyyy yzabel! on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of august, there’s a special program at Sabah International Convention Centre called HPPNS. Hari Peladang, Penternak & Nelayan Kebangsaan which translates to National Farmers, Farmers & Fishermen' Day. There’s a lot of local products and i’m sure you can get a lot of fun educational things about Sabah’s agricultural industry ☺️❤️

I wish the counter people would’ve told you to spend more time at Manukan island instead. Plus there is a store where you can rent snorkeling set there too instead of Mamutik island 🥲. Yes the jetty is a whole chaotic mess, as a local there and going to the island since teen, i have never like the process. 😅 I hope u enjoyed ur time at the islands in KK tho. ☺️
