In some systems the deities names are kinda like a title - in one past life Buddha was basically Zeus (in canon the name was Sakka but yeah)

Magic is just magic. The gods and goddesses have many faces. What is shown to you is your god and goddess. For me, the Morrigan is a goddess of Death, War and Fate... But to me, she is my mother, a healer and guide. She also has the regular aspects... But for me she is more. The thing that the universe has taught me is that we have to trust the lessons we have been given. And go forth with that knowledge and make choices based upon this magical knowledge.

I love Magic is just magic it like how there where multiple ways to harness the force the jedi and the sith where just the most known versions but there where also the night sisters who harnessed the force in a entirely different way as well as many other religions that had thier own practices

I've always viewed the stories from cultures to not be closed but EVERY cultures practice to be closed as the why is just as important as the how and that can only be taught through living within the culture.
