I did this cos my seat was at the front. but by the time I got on I had to put my bag overhead in the middle of the plane. So I was last off

Because overheads can get full, so last ppl need to check in their carry on. plus business class serve drinks the moment you sit down and you wont be served 2 minutes before take off.
