I would say it takes me less than 30 minutes a day with a non diabetic a1c. I use a diy loop that pretty much controls everything assuming that I have everything like basal rates etc dialed in. I NEVER forget to bolus, but if I'm off a little bit or late then the diy loop will autocorrect mostly. I also make sure to eat stuff that's easy to bolus for, I weigh out all my food, and make sure I maintain a healthy weight and physical activity/resistance training to reduce insulin resistance too. my a1c used to be double digits but after figuring out all the different factors and eliminating them as much as possible, it's basically a non issue now.

Just thinking about eating, exercising, drinking, going to bed means I’m thinking about my diabetes. Oh not to mention leaving the house and making sure I’ve grabbed everything. More like 30 minutes every hour 🤣🤣

last night i was 4.7 going down before bed, cool i go gave some milk. falls asleep. wakes up 3 more times in the night with dexcom telling me im high, bolus each time. IT DOES NOT GO DIWN

My daughter is type 1 was dx at 17months old, she’s now 3. And it is so time consuming and exhausting. It’s literally at 24/7 thing to deal with .. what is sleep anyway?!

Surely she must have meant SHE thinks about it for 30 minutes a day lol. According to my screentime i spent 31 hours on my pump app sooo adding in the mental load thats a full time job babe!
