Wish this was true but a Quick Look into the stats shows it isn’t. Economic outcomes don’t have anything to do directly with IQ but it is a factor.

Within the current IQ test, 5 out of 6 measurables are learned, the only one that isn’t learned is memory. In which memory is developed as a child and NOT through genetics. Not to mention the fact, you can always improve your memory.

You can’t just control for SES because IQ is a strong predictor for and likely causes higher SES, by doing this for black people you’re creating an unrepresentative sample (intelligent and thus rich black people, not average black people)

If we take the dunning Kruger effect as a real thing, Dr. Mike could be the poster child for it. Im not knowledgeable enough to comment on his exercise science, but on his personal pages he’s woefully ignorant on genetics, environmental science, behavioral psychology and philosophy not to mention economics. He states either contentious or fringe opinions as though they are facts constantly. He’s one of those people who clearly has strong intuitions on a number of topics - and also thinks he’s uniquely intelligent, so he thinks any strong intuition he has on a subject must be fact if he can find evidence to support it…. Even if the evidence is weak.

I hate it when people’s conclusions are correct (mostly) but they didn’t do enough research and analysis to reach those conclusions. They just scraped the surface and then regurgitated whatever affirmed their preconceived notions. IQ is an accurate measure of intelligence.
