Rehab is useless unless the addict wants to get clean and live a quality life. I get it- I lived it with my sister and nephews. Paying for transportation or driving them myself to rehabs only to have them leave in a week. God bless you, Cindy and the family

Do they pay attention you have no even talked to her. Enabling them is helping them do their habits. Loving them because they’re your daughter, niece nephew.son is something you can’t turn off. You may not like or condone what they’re doing, but you still love that person and don’t want nothing horrible to happen to them. You can tell these people have never been there’s someone with addiction problems that are new to this whole thing. Happy Friday beautiful.

I went through this with my son and it was hell. Xanax addiction had turned him into a completely different person and he was stealing and he ended up in jail for three months and this is a good kid who’s never been in control his whole life and I’ve never been so heartbroken but when he got out of jail he changed his life around so maybe that’s what he needed but I’ll never forget the pain he put me through.

It’s so easy to label others and tout tough love. We are thousands of followers who have no idea where their adult children are and thousands more who KNOW where their adult children are because they are gone forever.
