Mowing fairways and greens was my first job at 16 years old at KCCC. What happens if one of the reels gets a hydraulic leak? That happened to me once. We had to replace about 100 yard strip a reel wide of sod to fix the damaged zoysia. 😂🤦♂️I was so mad.

I play a lot of golf and am seeing robot mowers quite a bit. I’ve only seen the small ones, active as people are playing, almost completely quiet, making 24” lines/patterns in the fairway, perfectly straight. They will be mowing night and day soon, the job for the retired guy wanting to mow and trade labor for golf privileges is coming to an end.

Wow I have seen the smaller ones for the rough at some courses but super cool to see a fairway unit being used now. Firekeeper is a beautiful track, I need to get out there
