@aynsley_broom: Thank you @Apple TV for letting me see an early screening of #ChiefofWar This first episode was truly incredible. A FULL episode in ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i, and I’m not an expert in the language, but I felt the actors and actresses did their due diligence on doing right by the language. Whoever the dialect coach was on set did an amazing job! I can’t wait to see the rest of the season. I’m also very interested in knowing more about the history of this time. Also I’m a romance girlie, and some of the war scenes were just really tough for me to watch. As much as I would like to believe I could be like the women on the battlefield, I think would be one of the ones helping the wounded or getting supplies for the soldiers. Those were some INTENSE fights! Our ancestors knew how to bring it!
