I am visiting from Portland. My partner is from there & went to Clark Atlanta & had a job in Charlotte for a short period. I’m in Huntersville & the way they are throwing up housing for people moving here is crazy. I second everything you’re saying!

As far as progressive politics NC is way ahead of any other southern state (esp a couple of years ago we back peddled a little with our abortion stances but it makes it 10x harder bc the states around us being way harsher)
