Hey just a question when ever I do re treatment of a tooth I go through all the canals (infected and non infected) but some dentist say that you only have to treat those canals which are infected..Can you give your thoughts?

Doc I know this is a hypothetical question, but if the original dentist have found that canal and kept this one short. Would it be less likely to fail even though it’s short.
