@realdjsteele: I know many of you have been waiting and it’s been hard to hold this in all this time, but I can officially let you know that… It’s official. On September 19 🎤, I’ll be stepping behind the mic as a Guest Announcer at the legendary Grand Ole Opry — the most sacred stage in country music — in Nashville, Tennessee. 🎶✨ To say I’m honored doesn’t even begin to cover it. As a small-town kid raised on country radio, I grew up dreaming of standing on this very stage — where legends like 🎸 Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Roy Acuff, Minnie Pearl 🌟 and so many others have stood, shaping the heart and soul of country music. This year marks the 🎉 100th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry, and to be even a tiny part of that incredible milestone leaves me absolutely speechless. 🙏 Thank you to the Grand Ole Opry, my amazing team (especially Sharla McCoy 💖), and every single Kickin Kountry 101 listener who’s been part of this journey.
