So my friends and I were out eating, just chillin' and laughing, when she suddenly breaks down in tears for a reason. We were just waiting for our food, and we saw this family nearby. mom's pregnant, three kids running around, and her husband on the other side. My friend comments on how cute they are, she said “cute nang family nila nu, they look stable sa buhay.” genny and i agree because it’s pretty obvious naman talaga na they are happy family. But then the mom starts staring at us, and I mean, really staring. Like, it's making us uncomfortable. Next thing we know, she's taking out her phone and recording us. At first, we thought she was just taking a quick pic with her husband, but nope, she's got her camera on us, and it's not just a picture she's recording a video. We felt super uncomfortable, so we decided to move to a different table. to adjust for her. But she sets up her phone again, and keeps recording. She even zooms in on my friend's face! We were like,

So we mustered up the courage to approach her and asked if she was recording us. we were so nervous on how to approach her because she really looks intimidating, we was like “hello ma’am ask lang po sana namin if nag vivideo ka po?” i also said “nagiging uncomfy na po kasi kami.” Her response? "kanina kapa tingin ng tingin sakin hindi ko gusto yung tingin mo." i said sorry to her even though wala naman kaming kasalanan, but dinuro nya pa ako sabay sabing “wala akong problema sayo, sa kanya lang kasi kanina pa sya tingin ng tingin.” my bestfriend and i were shocked. We apologized and explained we weren't staring at her like that at all. In fact, we were actually looking at her family because they were being cute. my bestfriend immediately go to our table and started crying:(( were just minding our own business in our table, we’re just laughing and waiting for our food. tapos bigla pang na misunderstood, bestie keep on crying, because she can’t explain how hurt she is. The situation escalated quickly, we thought their done eating kasi palabas na sila but then her husband stepped in and apologized, saying it was a misunderstanding. My friend was really hurt, and I could see why - she's one of the kindest people I know. But what really got us was when the husband came over to our table after everything that happened and apologized again. He explained his wife was pregnant, and we were like, "It's okay, we get it." It was really sweet of him, and it made us tear up. hindi ko ma imagine yung pasensya ng husband nya.🥹 The whole experience taught us a valuable lesson: be kind, because you never know what someone's going through. Sometimes you need to adjust and be understanding too, because not everyone will adjust for you.🫵🏻 (we get it, baka sa hormones nya lang because she’s pregnant but c’mon it’s too harsh to treat people that way ma’am.)💔
