Put a layer of rocks in the bottom, so the water can go there and stay off the roots that don't want it
I had a bonsai for over 20 years, in a Mason jar like this
Would give it enough water to cover the rocks before I'd leave for a month, and it would drink when it wanted 🥰🥰🥰

Hey it’s B :
Still use a nursery pot but it’s also pretty easy to drill holes!

I got the same pots! I took a nail and hammer to it to make a drain hole and it didn’t break!

Upside down in the sink with water running on it. Diamond drill bits work best.

You can submerge underwater when drilling to help it not crack. I just use nursery pots everywhere now.
