This can be heaven or hell for people as spreading out content subjects increases visibility to people...... whether they are your target audience or not. (alot of creators asking for help cause they "ended up on wrong side of tiktok")

I'm not so sure! I think I've always seen you talk about a variety of things, and that has worked for you... but whenever I've stepped out of math, my videos have tanked... but I'm going to think about your take here and see if some different content clicks!

I think it also helps that people aren't as simple as "science guy" or "comics gal", so when you as a creator have multiple interests, it's entirely possible so will members of your audience who will then resonate with more of your stuff. I know I personally connected with multiple topics of your own interest. And, obviously, ethics of AI and addictive algorithm tuning aside, it's beneficial for viewers not to be as pigeonholed either, even if all they are to the system is a multivariate engagement calculation/a more detailed vector in the linear algebra of capital acquisition...

Well this is comforting. I don’t really try to farm followers, so I never settled on a niche. I only really post if I have something worth sharing. So I can just keep doing my thing. Or lack thereof.

The only problem is, if you get a lot of followers talking about someing outside your niche, you have to continue or else those followers are still gonna get bored. That's always been a fear of mine, stepping outside of entertainment stuff
